Accommodation

Waipiata offers two luxury accommodation options in wonderful surroundings.

Relax in the main lodge suites designed around glass corridors of views over water, native forest and rural aspects.  Portuguese stone, walnut and glass walls are features of this understated luxury which was designed to fully capture passive solar heating.  The timber and concrete and stone finishes blend with the simplicity and beauty of the landscape surrounding Waipiata.

Alternatively stay in new luxurious The Pavilion designed by Noel Lane as a part but detached from the main lodge. The Pavilion is a secluded studio a few steps away from the lodge.  Independent but still enjoying the pool and solitude of the  native trees and gardens.

Cuisine

Breakfast cuisine is included in all room tariffs.   We provide gourmet food using our own fresh organic produce wherever possible or locally sourced seasonal produce.

Freshly roasted coffee for the perfect start to the day, together with a beautiful selection of seasonal fresh fruits, juices, preserves, cereals, yogurts, homemade baked goods.

The orchards and gardens are all maintained following organic practices, providing delicious seasonal fruit, herbs, salads and vegetables for the Waipiata and Pavilion kitchen.

Restaurants

There are restaurants and cafes within 20 minutes of Waipiata and we can recommend, book and arrange transport to these on your behalf.

Wine and Vineyards

Waipiata offers a varied wine list of local and other New Zealand wines and beers for your enjoyment.

The region has a strong and growing wine industry and there are many wineries with restaurants and cafes that we can recommend or perhaps book you on a wine tour of the Matakana wine region.
